The Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival 9/25 - 9/28

Hello everyone.

I wanted to let you know about something ridiculous I plan on doing in the fall. Julie Smith and I are organizing The Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival. It will feature many of our favorite performers, and generally be fun and stupid. So far, it's being sponsored by Sub Pop, The Onion and our gumption. It will take place at Union Hall and The Bell House (a new 350 person venue that is beautiful being opened by the owners of Union Hall).

Here's what details we have so far. We'll let you know the lineup as soon as we have a clearer idea. Some stuff is subject to change, but this is pretty accurate, so I'm putting it out:

Exactly. I'm in Middletown, CT, which doesn't have a train station, the closest one is New Haven.

Sep 25 - 8:00pm - The Bell House (Opening Night Awards Gala) Hosted by Eugene Mirman. With Seth Herzog, Bobby Tisdale, Patrick Borelli, Janeane Garofalo, and many special guests. This will be a fake awards show, with food, followed by Bobby Bingo (Bobby Tisdale’s super-fun bingo game), and an afterparty DJed by Craig Baldo.

Sep 26 - 9:00pm - The Bell House (Invite Them Up) Bobby Tisdale hosts. With John Oliver, Aziz Ansari, Eugene Mirman, Ron Lynch and special guests.

Sep 26 - 5:30pm - Union Hall (Eugene Mirman's Fresh Faces of Comedy) Larry Murphy, Greg Johnson, Dave Hill, Kumail Nanjiani, Peanutbutter, and more.

Sep 26 - 7:00pm - Union Hall (One of Each) Aziz Ansari, Tig Notaro, Haniball Buress, Morgan Murphy, Joe Wong, John Roberts, and more.

Sep 27 - 2:00pm - The Bell House (Apartment 2F Reunion) The Sklar Brothers, Sam Seder, Michael Showalter, David Wain, Katty Biscone, Leo Allen, Eric Slovin, Matt Price, and more.

Sep 27 - 9:00pm - The Bell House (The Very Best Supporting Television Cast Members Live) Kristen Schaal, Arj Barker, Janeane Garofalo, Eugene Mirman and special guests.

Sep 28 - 9:00pm - The Bell House (Tearing The Veil of Maya, Closing Ceremonies) Hosted by Michael Showalter. Mike Birbiglia, Fred Armisen, Eugene Mirman, John Mullaney, and very special guests. Plus closing night party.

I was only able to make it to The Very Supportive TV Cast and Tearing the Veil of Maya closing night shows and both were excellent.
