This coming Monday is Groundhog Day, and Tell Your Friends! is going to celebrate the same way we do every year; we're not really going to do anything special.
However, if you want a big holiday party, I would highly recommend going to Woodstock, Illinois, for their annual weeklong Groundhog Days, a celebration of the fact that they were where the Bill Murray movie Groundhog Day was filmed. I was performing there a few years ago ("Liam, you got to spend a week in Illinois in February? Was one man ever so blessed?") and it was fun; they had free screenings of the movie and a chili cookoff and a guy in a groundhog suit let off fireworks to kick off the festivities and the film's location scout led a guided tour of the town square. You know that scene where Bill Murray steps into a pothole every morning? There's a plaque there that says "Bill Murray Stepped Here."
But if you're stuck in NYC this Monday, we have a pretty good time, too:
