Lovely pictures... I really like the one with the blue light. Artsy and elegant.

    spoiler alerts

opening up the show as the ghost of saddam hussein

PFT finishes up the 3rd final chapter of his adventures in attaining a drivers license.

    musical guest Grant Lee Phillips

Google Voice Theatre -- Stephen Dunham & Matt Gourley reenact a scene from Jaws to transcribed dialogue provided by Google Voice.

When things don't go well on stage, Stephen makes a dramatic exit...

Paul is confronted by google voice about his abuse of the service.

Mike Phirman does his own amazing and hilarious take on the loop box used by Reggie Watts, Andrew Bird and Jon Brion.

Closing out the night with a cover of "Three is a Magic Number" from Schoolhouse Rock

"... I want to be turning sad motherfuckers away at the door."
PFT closes out it out by urging people to tell their friends to check out the show.

On that note, if you haven't seen the show and like the podcast, go see this fucking show. It's different than anything I've been to and is definitely worth the $20/$25 bucks. Also since I won't be there next month, I need someone to come back here and tell me what I've missed.

Oh, and Liezl, Mike Doughty has taken ill (nothing permanent) and can't make the show. So filling in for him is the always-incredible Grant-Lee Phillips!

    Liezl, I'll see you there!

I have to concur. That was a great show. Thank you, Mr. F. Tompkins, for never failing to BRING IT. And thank you for ceding some of your stage time to that delightful dog. Oh my, I seemed to have, for the first time in my life, inserted one of these emoticons. Nothing I can do about that now.

No one ever sees me, I'm usually found dashing out after a show* quickly stuffing my camera equipment back into my purse. Next month I'll stick around a little longer and take some post show courtyard shots.

*due to my general hatred towards other human beings. not really. maybe.

That's ok, Liezl. I hate people too. But if I see you in the courtyard after next month's show, I'll try to say hey.

Liezl, you're not wrong. And you don't need a ticket, so me posting this ticket link is pointless. I mean, you'll be backstage, it doesn't matter to you that the show is almost sold out! So me telling you to hurry up and buy a ticket would be DUMB!
