On that note, if you haven't seen the show and like the podcast, go see this fucking show. It's different than anything I've been to and is definitely worth the $20/$25 bucks. Also since I won't be there next month, I need someone to come back here and tell me what I've missed.

ALL-NEW SHOW THE 3RD SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH!
Last edited by Paul F Tompkins; September 28, 2010 at 11:58 AM.
This is this Saturday!
That's right, Liezl!
And only Liezl!
Oh, and Liezl, Mike Doughty has taken ill (nothing permanent) and can't make the show. So filling in for him is the always-incredible Grant-Lee Phillips!
Liezl, I'll see you there!
Liezl, another fun night with the ol' Paul F. Tompkins Show. I hope non one ever finds out about it!
Secret's out Mr. F Tompkins. I was in the venue. Brilliant. Brilliant per usual.
Liezl - was hoping to see you dashing about clicking your digital.
Bob Ducca, people. Bob Ducca was there- hernia harness and all.
I have to concur. That was a great show. Thank you, Mr. F. Tompkins, for never failing to BRING IT. And thank you for ceding some of your stage time to that delightful dog.Oh my, I seemed to have, for the first time in my life, inserted one of these emoticons. Nothing I can do about that now.
No one ever sees me, I'm usually found dashing out after a show* quickly stuffing my camera equipment back into my purse. Next month I'll stick around a little longer and take some post show courtyard shots.
*due to my general hatred towards other human beings. not really. maybe.

That's ok, Liezl. I hate people too. But if I see you in the courtyard after next month's show, I'll try to say hey.
GUYS, IT'S THIS SATURDAY.
and some shots from last month....

janeane garofalo laments about having to ignore the children asking for candy.
PFT refuses to be a slave to the doorbell.
Garofalo is given a special halloween treat, killing her.
now haunted, everything around him emits a doorbell sound.
Phillips and PFT sing Jim Carroll's People Who Have Died
Seth Morris comes out as Bob Ducca, listing some people who have died.
Liezl, you're not wrong. And you don't need a ticket, so me posting this ticket link is pointless. I mean, you'll be backstage, it doesn't matter to you that the show is almost sold out! So me telling you to hurry up and buy a ticket would be DUMB!
THIS IS TONIGHT... with musical guest Ben Lee & non-musical guest, Busy Phillips!
I went to this show. Sensational. Is that a word people use anymore? I just used it. Right there.
