I posted about this show before. At that time it was going to be weekly. That has changed. It's now, well, whenever - oh, like TONIGHT!
Here is the scoop from Derek himself, and I quote (from his myspace bulletin):
"The Little Room is a truly intimate venue (seating about 50) rich in
history (the space was the original Troubadour where Lenny Bruce had a
performance residency!). Candles on the tables softly illuminate faces
smiling in wonderment, the perfect way to enjoy live performance.
This months guests include: Sean Watkins, who will put you under the spell
of his guitar with a delightful set of his original tunes. Modern day
vaudevillian, Bruce Gold, headliner at the world famous Magic Castle,
might just make you believe in ghosts. Randy Liedtke. Comic. Shoe
designer. Nuff said. Eban Schletter, the Theatre of Magic house
musician holds it all together! And I, Derek Hughes, will share some of
my reflections on a reality chuck (Norris) full of illusions.
FYI; Feel free to do a shot between your car and the door, but no booze
for now at the club. Until a liquor license is granted the “bar” in the
Little Room (the actual bar from the original Largo on Fairfax) is but
an illusion. For now coffee, water, and small munchies are available
pre-show in the theater lobby.

If you're in Los Angeles, come on out!"
