Both co-hosts' enthusiasm for their own show has waned,
so we put together a spectacular bill for this Tuesday's 2nd Anniversary of the Doug and Denver Jokecenter:

PLUS, FREE FOOD all night:
Local pepper grower, Billy Dilly, will serve a special crock-pot delight, and co-host Denver Smith's girlfriend, will bake cupcakes.
All night rave/dance party will follow immediately.

The Big Fish is a magical bar in Glendale, where bartenders Billy Dilly and Cheeser dispense wisdom, wrangle the regulars, and add their two convoluted cents about everything from Elvis Presley to the Houston Astros, to what a ball buster Oprah Winphrey was in the late 70's. All these cross breeding voices of creativity spin the show into an energetic nirvana. But they both want you to know "THIS IS NOT A GAY BAR" .

Co-Host Doug Pound has been rocketing to success through numerous projects including, "Tim & Eric Awesome Show", "The Poundcast on SuperDeluxe.com", and a nationwide touring schedule. As a result, he no longer feels the need to perform while passing trains and working-class dart-throwers interrupt his gorgeously crafted puns.

Co-Host Denver Smith has been succumbing to a general malaise for quite some time, now, constantly second-guessing himself and his own enormous talents.



The Big Fish will live on. This weekly show won't.

Dear D&D JokeCenter and live simulcast on GarageComedy.com,

First of all, that show was AMAZING! I know we're a bunch of jaded comedy aficionados on this message board. But WOW, that show was rockin'.
The most fun I have EVER had, watching a live internet feed.
Just about every comic was stellar, and the energy in the room was palpable, even over my computer.
Lived up to all the hype.

However, while I enjoyed the show thoroughly, and was glued to my monitor, I was OUTRAGED when I was SLANDERED by one of your comics.
Literally heckled in my own bedroom by a tall fellow with a distinct chin.
He was very funny, but when he ribbed me about one of my prior AST show comments on this post - the one above where I said I felt we would all get laid - it became all too real for me.
I got a brief glimpse into the rush of what a life in the performing arts must be like.
It was too intense an experience. To live a life of public scrutiny, is never what I intended.

All I wanted to do was bump the show on AST. I never wanted to write something unfunny, or risk the wrath of a person skilled at making insightful comments.

In short, could you please make sure that that comedian never again works in show-business.
I know you have that power over at the Big Fish in Glendale.

And please, could you tell Brody... tell him..
ahh, forgot what I was going to say.
