Re: CDR: Sarah Silverman / Tig Notaro / Brent Weinbach

this was an insanely fun show. from the bonus of 1000 cats to open, we also got jon daly stepping up to host, tig still doing a set before heading to the hospital, brent AND laura weinbach, and sarah silverman plus duck. also, solid sets from fairbanks, rudnick, vaughn, and trussell.

More like Comedy Death RAIN!

Er...sorry.

I thought everyone came with solid, on-point material. One of the best shows I've seen. Tig deserves extra specials thanks for doing comedy with one hand, although I didn't like the product placement for Target

Best rain moment: When Gelman paused during the finale of 1000 Cats and in the quiet, with the rain beating on the roof, said "Hear that? That's God crying". It was a "purr-fect" moment.

Get it?

Jon Daly as jazz sax musician, Barry R, filling in as host while Tig was busy crashing her enterprise rent-a-car.

Duncan Trussell

Baron Vaughn sings the penis lollipop song, which has been stuck in my head on repeat since last night.

Hal Rudnick does some beat poetry Salt & Vinegar kettle chips and being the subject of teenage fodder as the 30 year old male being dropped off by his mother at a screening of Twilight.

"Sorry Sweetie...Did I say Sweetie? I mean Sweet... sssweeeeet..."
Chris Fairbanks talks about sounding like a pedophile while plowing over some little boy at the skate park.

Tig drops in with her busted hand in a bag of ice

".. and you never see the product!..."
Laura and Brent Weinbach reenact their commercial for their new toy, Pubics Cube

"let's sing it in Roman..."
Singing the 9-10 song

Sarah Silverman closes out the night with a couple songs while duck sits on an audience member's jacket at her feet.

Re: CDR: Sarah Silverman / Tig Notaro / Brent Weinbach

I have to correct it, because it was such a good joke: Barry R's 9/11 tribute album was entitled: "Manhattan Just Got Smoother"

Re: CDR: Sarah Silverman / Tig Notaro / Brent Weinbach

This was an outstanding show! Brent Weinbach is always amazing to see, definitely one of my favorite performers of all time. He deserves his own show at UCBT and his own TV show for that matter. The Pubic's Cube bit and 9-10 song with Laura were incredible. Everyone had a really good vibe going and not one part of the show was uninteresting. Jon Daly rocked the house as host and Sarah's serenade, or Sarahnade, was great. It's good to see her bust out the guitar every now and again. It was also great to see Tig come out and perform, I didn't expect to see her, but she came out anyways. That sucks about the accident. I hope everything works out fine for her.
