This show had me laughing so hard my face hurt.. especially
during BJ's reenactment of what he wish had happened during
the 'funniest dinner ever'.


"oh how hilarious, we all reached for the same chair..."


Here, rob picks out an audience member to play the ex-girlfriend
eating at the restaurant... normally, the audience member knows
to stay silent and play along. I'm guessing these folks were new
to the venue. The girl started to act along, saying things like "How
could you forget my name?" Later in the night, when the girl's over
ambitious mother tries to get in on the bit, rob tells her to fuck off.


seth talks about the notes his mother would leave in his lunch.


Susan Burke talks about the jitterbug phone,
a phone made for old people... only to find out an audience member
owns a jitterbug phone.


Jon Daly as "the stupid fuckface waiter", who's a little angry that
he wasn't invited to dinner with the guys the night before. I was
wondering what Jon Daly was doing on CDR two Tuesday's in a row,
but he really stole the show... even with his lack of dialogue.


When Matt Besser tries to befriend the guys at the dinner table, he's
basically told to fuck off and that he has no friends. Besser counters
by sharing some letters from friends... letters that tell him he can
increase the amount of his ejaculation.


After BJ witnesses a girl being slapped around by her boyfriend, he
comes to save the day by rescuing the girl.


...although after some prompting by the guys, he shares what really happened.
(BJ saves Eric Appel from his abusive girlfriend.. punching her in the gut)


Mary Lynn Rajskub faces the realities of having a child.. no more
late night tequila tastings.

In an interesting turn of events, Jon gets fed up of being excluded
from dinner, gets his revenge.

I hope this whole show ends up somewhere online... well maybe
not Greg's set, lest we have it taken out of context and he ends
up cited as the next Michael Richards.

It was a running sketch that formed the interstitials between the acts, opened and closed the show.

Each performer got a "spotlight" piece with Seth doing some stand up, Brett doing character based stand-up. BJ doing his "beating up a girl" skit, Scott and Brett riffed on the "boring parts" of dinner, and Rob with the ex-girlfriend running gag - and mocking Letters from Iwo Jima.

it was the over ambitious mother who raised her hand. haha. I saw her before the show asking people how to get tickets so im assuming they were tourists and stumbled upon the ucb. they were so bummed out during the palin jokes and during fitzsimmons set.

Rob doing a mystery science theater segment to a sequence from letters from iwo jima. "fake. asian. legitimately sad. not real. american dying...wait thats an asian...fuck you!"

bjork/jimmy stewart were top notch especially when jimmy stewart was showing how many friends he had by reading emails aloud. "come be a party slave down at the club."
"those aren't your friends. that's spam. do you know what fucking spam is?" "no those are my fellow party slaves wanting me to have fun."

Fitzsimmons set...wow. "if there's any black people in the crowd clap."
"ma'am wake up its time for you to tell your best nigger joke."

and the FUNNIEST DINNER EVER in general was great. i hope that gets put up on ucbcomedy.
