Does anyone know what that big box was on stage? It seemed like it must have had some purpose other than to hold beers and iPhones.

Yeah, and why did they wrap the back wall in wrapping paper? That doesn't seem like a good gift for anyone!

(My guess is it was a decoration/set piece to evoke the Christmas spirit. Get with the program, Scrooge.)

Watching that electric christmas tree continually get messed up or taken apart was a fun side gag thru the evening.

For a second I thought you were talking about Aukerman.

    Both of them.

By far, my favorite part of the night. That was 3am-ish for PFT, he's a trooper. It was even better than the intense stare I got from security guard Zach.

Best night ever, even if I did sober up half-way through the show :]

Yes, PFT, 3 am in Kentucky, and STILL in a 3 piece suit. Always the gentleman.....

Pretty sure he said he was in Alexandria, Virginia. Although, you are correct, it was also 3:00 am in Kentucky.

And all the free swag! I got Patton's CD & DVD, I HATE Jimmy Pardo sticker, my CD single from the calendar sale, plus I won Doug Benson's CD and a Heinous Anus shirt. I walked away with much more than $20 worth of stuff!

Damn, what a fun night. Anybody else think that Aziz probably did better with the laptop NOT working? The live DJ was utterly hilarious. Jon Daly was in the audience for that bit and I kept seeing him LOSE IT every time the DJ spoke up. (What's the DJ's name?)

I can't be arsed to get up and find my calendar, but I believe the DJ is the guy who is in the Abe Lincoln picture with Bob Odenkirk.

    Yeah that was amazing.

See also: Neil Hamburger's line, "Go easy on me, I have cancer."

That was probably the line of the night for me.

I just remembered Patton's CDR stat about Dana Gould. It was something like, "Dana Gould has told 300 jokes about his dad and resolved exactly zero daddy issues."

It's such a treat to have all these amazing comedians put on a show of this proportion for us at such an affordable price. Therefore, for what it's worth, I thank all of them greatly for taking the time out to do it and also Scott and BJ and the rest of the Death Ray crew for putting on an excellent show every week. It's awesome to have something to come to every week in such a relaxed environment with great people. Have a great holiday break everyone and I'll be awaiting the start of the 2009 CDR era and I'll see you then.
i couldn't have summed it up any better. best show. It would be impossible to recap everything. There was a lot of funny crammed into 4 and a half hours. I'm thankful I got to attend. I think Jon Daly's joker outfit made me laugh the hardest. I cant wait for CDR in 2009.

Hmmm.. There's a 12 picture posting limit, I've completed editing 40 photos, and I'm only up to Andy Daly and haven't even gotten to ILM yet...

Also thanks to Vanessa for those delicious popcorn cake things.
