Hey Everyone,

After the first six weeks of running the show has become a big success and everyone seems to enjoy it very much. We sold out both shows last weekend and actually had to turn away a couple folks at the door that arrived after 11pm because we were too full.
Here are two quick things you should know about:

1. Starting this Friday night the primary beer at the shows will be Dos Equis lager. Yep, we just got a beer sponsor so more Natural Light Ice. It's only the good stuff from now on.

2. Admission to the show is now $8. I had always wanted admission to remain $5 but with expenses of promotions, paying for the venue, equipment and employees the show has lost money every week that it's been up and running. Including the last two weekends when we sold out.

That being said $8 is still cheaper than the cost of seeing a movie and is less than half of the Friday or Saturday night cover charge at any other comedy club in town (and there's no drink minimum because we give you unlimited free beer).

Also, anyone who received a flyer at this or last week's shows that lists the show being $5 at the door can present the flyer to the door guy and get their entire party (up to 4 people) in for $5 each one last time.

Anyway, I am happy and proud that the show is going so well. I am grateful to all of you for coming out and supporting it like you have and I'm looking forward to great things for the show and our comics in the future.
