So a buddy of mine and I here in Phoenix are trying to put together a little Midwest tour for ourselves to escape the crazy summer heat of AZ and get some experience on the road. We've got it mostly locked down, but Im having a heck of a time finding shows for us in Kansas City and Texas, likely because I dont really know anyone there.

We're going to be in KC on Wednesday, July 7th and would love to find a show there. None of these need to be paid shows at comedy clubs or anything, we just want an opportunity to make people in new towns laugh.

For Texas Ive sent out an email or two to some people in Austin, but Im waiting to hear back. But we'd also like to do the bigger cities, but searching online has really gotten me nowhere so far. We'll be in Texas something like the 14th (Wed) through the 21st (Wed) so if anyone knows of shows that we'd maybe be able to latch onto in Dallas/Ft Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and even El Paso and could share some info I'd really appreciate it.

We're going to be coming into TX from Oklahoma (already have shows booked there), so the ideal route would be something like:

Dallas/Ft Worth on the 14th-15th
Houston on the 16th-17th
Austin on the 18th-19th
San Antonio 20th
El Paso 21st

I know there's the "Comic Strip" in El Paso, but since we're no namers, I wonder if we'd have any shot of even each getting like 5 minute guest spots there. If anyone knows of a more independent type show there, thats what Id be looking for.

Also here is a vide of me performing in Scottsdale if you care before you recommend me any shows. My buddy doesn't have one online yet, but we're working on that.

We have a Facebook and Blog for the tour, and we're planning on making a little travel documentary to put on YouTube of the whole thing, it should be fun.

Thank in advance to anyone who can provide any help. I know its last minute but Ive been spending a lot of time locking down shows in Denver, Nebraska, St Louis, Oklahoma, etc....Im quickly learning why 'real' comics have managers, this is a lot of work!
