It would be nice if there was a place in Orlando instead of the Hard Rock to see a comedy show. I really can't spare the $30-40 for it.

Actually, here in Tampa, we have an Improv in Ybor City, and they have been booking some pretty good comedians lately. Over the past 12 months, I've gotten to see Doug Benson (with Graham Elwood opening for him), Brian Posehn (with Tony Camin), The Whitest Kids U Know (with Josh Fadem), Jimmy Fallon (prepping for his talk show launch), and Dave Attell.

I have made a few trips to the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, once to see Norm McDonald (who was funny, but that was a really weird show- it was some kind of charity benefit and we had to sit through a whole auction first before Norm came out to do his jokes). I was considering going to see Louis CK, but tickets were pretty expensive, and I couldn't really get a good seat. He was also playing at the Performing Arts Center here in Tampa, which was even more expensive.

*head 'sploding* Thanks Brasky for the updates. I missed Patton a few times now, still haven't seen him live. Also I think Doug mentioned he'll be in Florida in December.

I saw Martin when he was here last (fall '08 maybe?). Louis rocked Sarasota a couple years ago (during Chewed Up), I can't wait to catch him again. It was a nice small venue too, although the Performing Arts Center juuuuust might net him some better cash returns.
