Hello, people! On June 18, 2004, I left the city of Boston, where (a year and a half earlier) I had started performing comedy. On June 18, 2009 -- five years to the day after moving away -- I will be returning to Boston for the first time. My schedule is as follows!
June 19 and 20: Mottley's at Faneuil Hall.
I'm pretty excited about doing Mottley's, a relatively new club run by Tim McIntire et al. I'll be doing a couple of 20-minute sets here, opening for very funny stand-up comic (and Walsh Bros. associate) James Patterson. Also on the bill: host Bethany van Delft, and (last I heard) Zach "Mr. Napkins" Sherwin on Friday and Ken Reid on Saturday. http://www.mottleyscomedy.com
June 24 and 26: The Comedy Studio in Harvard Square.
This is where it all began for me! The second show I ever did, and most of the next couple hundred, were at this place. I'm looking forward to performing at this place -- it's probably the thing I've missed most about Boston. http://thecomedystudio.com/schedule.html
I'm also doing Chris Coxen and Robby Roadsteamer's "Greater Boston Alternative Comedy Sleepover" at the Cantab in Central Square... actually the place where I did my third show ever. That's one of the Mondays -- not yet sure which one. http://www.cantab-lounge.com/
And... you know, looking for shows! Doing shows, if I can manage to find them! Yea, verily!
