Is there a listing of all the specific shows up yet?
Just wanted to pop in and say a friendly "fuck you I'm really jealous" to everyone who gets to go to this and hang out. Your joy and enjoyment of this awesome festival will bring out the whiny baby in me... wah.
(No, but really... have fun! I'll be there in spirit and I wish I could attend for real...)

If you're a fan of "The Room" and haven't seen the "Birdemic" trailer yet, you should:
We're screening it for the first time in Portland at Bridgetown this year.
I've never been to a comedy festival or Oregon before. On a whim this winter (which is my crazy busy work season) I tried to get a ticket for MaxFunCon and was heartbroken when it was sold out. I consolation prized myself with a golden pass to Bridgetown, but this forum is making it sound straight up just as awesome! None of my friends could join (so far), so I'm counting on a down to earth, friendly atmosphere, and plan on bringing my own as well, from Arizona.
Can't wait!

I'm doing The Baghdad Theater show tonight. These last couple of days have been packed with quality eats.
Here is what I got at Pine State Biscuits. The fried chicken is done just right.
Also there appears to be a band called Freaky Outy.

I can't believe I forgot Pine State in my list (esp. since it's one of the closer restaurants to my apartment). My vegetarian friend is always trying to be open minded about my boyfriend and me liking meat... she took us here for breakfast and suggested the Reggie Deluxe (biscuit+fried chicken+bacon+fried egg+cheese+biscuit, covered in sausage gravy). I ended up taking the day off work on account of meat-induced coma. The vegan mushroom gray is delicious too, though.
I'm listening to Portland's band Hockey right now:

If you hating having fun don't listen to them.

I'm going to be living off pasta and brown rice the rest of this month, but it'll be worth it when I have money to blow on maple bacon donuts and deadly amounts of booze. First AST round on me!
Morgan Murphy on Fallon last night:
Friend coerced into coming to Portland from Phoenix to be acting partner in crime. check
Plane tickets purchased. check
Hotel room booked. check
Excitement. unchecked
Not to turn this thread into Ed's trip to Portland thread but here is another awesome thing about Portland, nature. This shit knocked my balls off yesterday:
