    AST in Connecticut?

    Hey all,
So I just moved from LA to go to law school on the East Coast. And since I can now no longer go to CDR every week, I need to find a new live comedy fix. Anyone know where I can catch some good comedy in Connecticut? Preferably in the New Haven area? You know, besides the obvious answer of going to NYC.

    Thanks in advance!

Isn't Toad's Place in New Haven? Occasionally, they have comedy shows there.

Joker's Wild is in New Haven (I wanted to go last weekend for Jay Black there, but couldn't make it), "Brew Ha Ha" at City Steam Brewery is in Hartford....but I tend to go to Treehouse Comedy Club events. Every Friday and Saturday, they have events at Harborside Restaurant in Stratford, $15 to get in (Treehouse also does events in Danbury, Newtown and other places). Jim Florentine was there a few months ago (great show), Patrice O'Neil, Gilbert Godfried, Bob Levy. etc.
Colin Quinn was at a place in Chicopee 2 weekends ago, I never heard of the place (only saw it on his Twitter account posting), I checked with a client that lives in Chicopee, MA and she said they have national acts in once a month or so (Hu Ke Lau) - Andrew Dice Clay is there tonight, DL hughley next week.

Manic Productions has been booking comedy shows at Cafe Nine in New Haven recently. Good comedy, too: Nov. 7th - Neil Hamburger, Dec. 12 - Todd Barry.

I graduated Quinnipiac Law in Dec 2002...good luck. My first year outlines should still be floating around the Law Review office (probably too old for you now, they'd be 1999...but I had almost a word for word outline of Gilles' Torts and Chen's Contracts)
