On Sept 29th - October 2nd, Nick DiPaolo will headline the first Orlando Comedy Festival. As one of the promoters, I am helping get new talent out and giving in my 2 pennies about way to create a fest with integrity that can bring out new and established acts. Festival Director Ben Wavell is an honest comedy lover and skilled organizer. South Beach in Miami has a well known fest but the Orlando Fest seems to have more of an edge while being dedicated to the off beat and indie scene. I know the graphics suck but it would be great to get your feedback about what you would like to see in this fest The Orlando Comedy Fest will be a 4 day event in the middle of tourist ass mctouristy Orlando. I just moved out here from LA where I worked with Garage Comedy, Scotty Bowser, The Sklar Bros and really miss the scene. Just could not afford to live there anymore and am trying to create a strong indie scene out here. Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated and if this fest goes well then maybe I can fly some of you out here next year. Thanks for reading/
