Guts me any time I am reminded of it.A prominent academic in addition to being a Holocaust survivor, he is most widely known for his actions during the Virginia Tech massacre, in which he held off the gunman, giving all but one of his students enough time to escape through the windows. Librescu was shot and killed during the attack.
Crater Face.
YouTube preview is a bit of a spoiler, so I linked it instead.
I have been known to tear up during the odd episode of Friday Night Lights, or during a couple of the final episodes of Angel, but the only time a TV show or movie has made me really bawl was Nate's death in the final season of Six Feet Under. I was diagnosed with AVM (Nate's disease) in 2005 and a friend told me I should check out SFU. He made the recommendation before the final season aired so I can't be mad at him, but the entire series was pretty difficult to sit through whenever Nate's disease was brought up. When he had his surgery in season 3 and was given the all-clear I took it as a huge sign that I might also be that lucky and things could turn out well. So when he finally succumbed to an AVM 2 seasons later I was pretty much devastated.
I DARE you too look at all 40 of these photographs and not tear up. Challenge issued.
40 Of The Most Powerful Photographs Ever Taken

I didn't get past #8.
I would post a sample but they're all rather large.
#8 was the only happy one of them all. Why stop there?
I didn't stop, I failed the challenge
18) the old gay couple, that's the one that did it for me.
Some amazing photos, all right.
I made it to 20. Is this a personal challenge or a very weird contest?
(Current champion.)
No tears. Made it to the moon.
Lest you think I've a heart made of stone, I do well up while watching my Schoolhouse Rock DVD with my son...evidently I weep for the state of education in this modern age.
We'll just take the fact that this was too long and that you didn't read it...as read.
Those photos are great, but I didn't shed a tear or nothin'.
One weird time I lost my shit was when I was weaning myself off Effexor and watching I Am Legend. The scene where he euthanizes his dog turned me inside out. Weirdest couple of weeks of my life.
I don't know how anyone gets past 17
I didn't tear up but I definitely had to stop and collect myself at 36.
I teared up on a bunch because I am a big baby, but the one that unexpectedly got me the most was the one with Jackie Kennedy and the description of her being caked in her husbands blood. Just insane.
Also, 20 is funnier to me than I wish it was.
