Post things that legitimately make you cry.
This obviously hit me much harder now that I know my 17-month old will be learning this lesson someday. I cried so much at this, I almost made cry-face.

So many people I know were raised on Disney, but I was a Henson kid all the way. If my doozer avatar didn't already tip you off, I'm still very into Henson. I genuinely believe he was probably the smartest, kindest, most creative, loving, incredible man the world has ever known. Every project of his hits me in a different way and if I ever have kids, I know that Muppets, Sesame Street, Dinosaurs, and my personal favorite Fraggle Rock will be part of their life.
Few dreams of mine have been as strong as my dream to work for the Sesame Workshop. When I went to college, my endgame was to end up as Sesame (first a degree in music, then music cognition, then specialize on the effects of music in preschool aged kids). That didn't happen, but I still hope dearly I can make Henson a part of my life in some way.
I think that even if your love for Henson isn't the way mine is, you'll probably have a hard time keeping it together during that video.

Eyes are the losers in the skies.
Big fat baby bitch tears every time I watch this. I couldn't even watch the clip on YouTube fully.

Seriously? Since my dad died, what DON'T I cry at? I cried on a plane during the fucking eulogy scene in Love, Actually. I just teared up at the end of Inception. I'm staying the fuck away from this thread.

This story.
Wasn't there a thread like this already? Was that only for movies? I don't feel like looking for it despite the fact that its incredibly easy.
The last thing that made me cry was when I was shooting video for a wedding reception. Everyone was dancing and the DJ played Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers. There was this older couple, must have been in their late 70's or 80's, on the dance floor. Heads on shoulders, eyes closed. In such an embrace, they were just in a world of their own. It was really sappy, but it got to me. I remember tearing up and at the same time like "Come on, really? Get a hold of yourself."
I'm pregnant. So basically everything makes me cry. (especially a few of the pampers commercials)
many tine tanies
Taking stock of where I am in my life right now.
Thanks for putting that up MrDys. Although I can see why it'd make you choke up. Sometimes I think I loved Mr. Roger's Neighborhood more than Sesame Street growing up. I just loved Trolley and the Land of Make Believe. What a kind heart he had.![]()

The fact that so many of these moments have to do with childhood makes me think that now that I'm an adult, nothing will ever be as meaningful to me. That's a good reason to cry, huh?

Also, fresh-baked French bread makes me cry.

I was listening to NPR and they were doing a farewell to Friday Night Lights episode. Nearly every episode makes my eyes water at some point. Even the interviews were making me choke up. This show is great for a cry.
