I'm fuckin in love with this album lately.

I have been putting off listening to this asshole just to piss off the guy that's freaking out about him on my news feed. (in a couple months he had posted almost every single one of his songs - anyone else have a friend like this?) It seems (and it always does) that he was right to because jonwayne is just about as amazing as anyone on the stones throw label.
This is just what everyone listens to now, right?
"Guys, I don't want to worry you but there's some more bullshit happening on my golf course"
Yeah everyone knows that song by now.
You guys know about Tortoise and how mindblowing they are right.
K Glad we got that squared away.
Flying Lotus and Gaslamp Killer both have albums out soon and I`ve been revisiting some of their older work again but that`s easily found.
Yall watch Eric Andre right. Should be familiar with this cat.

Since I saw these guys on Letterman again I just keep listening over and over and over and over and over and over times infinity.
Really damn loud.
I've been listening to the David Byrne / St. Vincent collaboration album pretty much non-stop this week.
I obviously have nothing interesting to add to this conversation.
Wow. Thanks, for posting that video of The Heavy. I love how excited Dave was by them. I've watched him on and off since i was 10 and I have never seen him get that excited about a performance.

YES, I love Tortoise!
Perfect music for many situations, especially relaxing alone in a pitch black room.
I recently watched A Lazarus Taxon, cannot get enough of this band!
Here's more - 1, 2, 3, 4.
The Albums "It's All Around You" and "TNT" are good places to start.

Awesome! This is personally my favourite. What about any of the Chicago Underground/Isotope 217 stuff? There's a great bootleg of the Tortoise with the Chicago Underground Trio available somewhere.
When I got better from the mumps, my swollen nut and neck shrunk.

Hell yeah Tortoise. One of my favorite bands. Also the band that got me into these guys:
sweet vibraphone goodness at 6:50
Contrast and compare:
And, as long as we're watching funny Aimee Mann videos directed by Tom Scharpling, this one's good too:
