    his suit was awful.

and they were completely right about fabio. the stuff he puts on himself is way more interesting than the stuff he designs.

i will say that i really liked this challenge. do something wearable and versatile in your own style. no low-rent haute couture in 12 hours or use these ugly fabrics from heidi's sportswear line or make something inspired by the sun.

I wasn't turned on by anything in this challenge, I like the wacky stuff.

i liked the top 3 dresses. but i guess just because i thought i'd actually wear em. i don't think the challenge made it non-wacky, though. that was the designers. if they'd told mondo to do a versatile day to evening outfit, it would still be all mondo style. these guys just make boring clothes. it was their chance to show what they're about without any weird twists to throw them off. that's what i liked about it. it was just "do your thing."

When I heard the challenge, I thought it had more to do with surviving a full day and not looking like shit, rather than "This could be appropriate for both work and cocktails".

The original challenge (as I heard it) sounded a lot like the season 3 challenge where they had to make something that would survive a flight to France.

Shouldn't all clothes survive a full day and not look like shit? I understand the words they said but not really the concept I guess. And the "backstory" to all the outfits; she's On The Go, she's Having Lunch With Friends, she's Flying To Paris. Just like MY life!

I liked the idea of the backstories, because the original challenge made it sound like the designers would have to make D&D characters. "My woman is a record executive who goes to cocktail parties every night. She was raised by elves in the enchanted forest and wields a +2 bow. She has the ability to speak to bears."

they should make larping outfits! they'd each get assigned a larper and have to create that nerd's vision of their halfling rogue-sorcerer.

Someone on All-Stars made some kind of Ninja outfit that the judges agreed was only good for cosplay. I forget who did it though. Oh I just looked it up, it was Michael's glow in the dark one, the one Austin one with the fairy (hee) lights.

Since both Andrea and Kooan left, I was sort of expecting the last two people eliminated to come back, not just Raoul. Doesn't this mean they'll have to do an episode where no one gets eliminated in order to keep the episode count right? It's also possible that they snuck in that guy Nathan since I don't remember him from any previous episodes and I'll probably forget about him again by next week.

    Excellent choice.

The team with the flowery stuff -- I found most of that hideous, personally. LOVED the blue dress that won.

odd, my dvr marked this as a repeat and didnt record, but I did manage to catch the end. Definitely agree with the outcome. As much as I hated whats her face barking at everyone, raul deserved to go. The other team's outfits were a snooze. Safe and off the rack wearable.

Also, is michael kors getting increasingly orange with every episode?

Crazy people are crazy. I'm excited that next week Ven's going to get slapped down for lacking all kind of tact and empathy.

Raul you idiot. You are obsessed with being sent home and the way you do that is by doing your best to guarantee that if the team is on the bottom everyone will say "Raul is the problem; he refused to work with the group in any way." Also, you make horrible clothes.

As great as the winning dress was, there is no office in which a woman can wear it. With that neck, what do you do with a phone? Get a bluetooth?

    Re: We Like Project Runway

Twitter was alive with anti-Ven tweets last night, from former contestants, Nina Garcia and even L'Oreal Paris and Mood's official corporate tweets were all, "Ven, youse a dick."

The R&B singer's dress was HORRIBLE... see-thru sleeves and the satin, augh. I wasn't thrilled with the belt on the Asian girl's dress, someone mentioned that too I think. Might have been Michael K'Orange.

WOW... Reading Ven's twitter, he still doesn't get it. Claiming it was editing and blaming the belt. Basically everything but himself. Editing or not, there was no way to sugar coat those comments.
