    We Like Project Runway

Season 5 starts tonight. Fierce. Tranny. Hot mess. Hot tranny mess.

    Woot. Fierceness.

PS. There's also an Aussie version up on YouTube. My insomnia will enjoy watching it just like the Canadian version.

I hope the challenges are better than last season's. I'd have been pissed if I had been a designer on that show. Bunch of product placing crap.

I'm so happy they sent that ass home. He had the chance of Rami'ing it up the entire season; sending boring ass shit down the runway while acting like a self-important douche.

Blayne can't be around for much longer. He has a coke habit to maintain.

Bravo, for some weird reason has posted the episode summary blurbs (thus the challenge details). Spoilered for those that want to be surprised:

    Spoiler:

    "Girlicious" does not equal "Fierce"!

Also I cannot wait for Tim Gunn saying "Holla at your boy" and "It looks like a pterodactyl in gay Jurassic Park" to be put in context.

Blayne saying "Um, I think I'm gonna win!" made me lol.

Blayne looks like a Dinosaurs (the tv show) version of Mark Hamill. Oh, and he's orange.

Those are the two things that stood out to me too. I missed Tim Gunn.

    Re: We Like Project Runway

the "holla at your boy" thing is going to be blayne's fierce. girliscious obviously isn't working, but he threw out holla at your boy sort of under his breath this first episode, and it looks like either he sticks with it or tim picked it up after that one.

while the asian problem definitely deserved to go, but his cut was obviously as much a demographics/personality thing as it was a lack of talent cut. stella's dress was awful and as one of the judges said, it doesn't show me anything to expect in future challenges, but an aging rocker woman is a much easier character to sell than some boring asian (who has the balls/lack of taste to send a woman down the runway wearing dishwashing gloves).

Although I too am glad to see Tim Gunn and his comedic imrpov, my favorite folks on this show have always been Michael Kors and Nina Garcia.

(I have a secret crush on Nina, don't ask, can't be explained)

    (don't tell my wife)

I was glad to see him go...but I almost felt bad at one point..when it looked like he was going to cry. Licious is just plain obnoxious. Stella is a bag. I can't wait for more Tim. That's all.

I cannot stand Stella. She designs for rock stars like... "Blondie. And... Blondie." Isn't that Deborah Harry? The band is Blondie. Too old for the funky pants and ponytails too. I think she should have lost this round. Although the butcher shop/raincoat was pretty terrible.

Top Design is making a triumphant return in September, as well.
