Thread: Sugar Cane Soda

    Sugar Cane Soda

Kind of going along with the carne asada fries thread... where can one find sugar cane sodas such as Coke or Pepsi in can or bottle form in the Los Angeles area?

    I'm sick of corn syrup.

if you are simply looking for cane sugar soda, both jones and hansens are now exclusively cane sugar. not exactly coke or pepsi but they do have some interesting flavors to be sure. also Dr Tima has a line of sodas that use honey as sweetner the cola is not bad.

    Re: Sugar Cane Soda

There are various South American sodas available for purchase online and alot of them use sugar cane. International sodas get pretty interesting, actually isn't Pepsi White in Japan supposed to taste like yogurt or something?

You don't have to go anyplace exotic. The Target near me sells Mexican Coke which has actual sugar instead of corn syrup, if that's what you want.

It's all empty calories, anyway. That's why I go for Coke Zero. No calories, and unlike regular Diet Coke, which is for girls, it's in a black can, so you know it's for guys.

I used to love the oddball drinks at Famima, but it seems they've cut back on their stock in favor of vitamin water and snapple. At least they still carry Calpico.

Japanese markets like Nijiya and Mitsuwa are also great places for some imported sodas.

I just recently had a melon creme soda which was AMAZING...
it was like candy in liquid form.

They also had peach fanta, but I havent seen it in a couple weeks.

I instantly love anyone whose first post is in this monumentally uninteresting thread (that I have eagerly participated in).

I stopped here again. There's so much good stuff to try. My friend said they should rename the store, "Diabetes."
