    RIP Jerry Reed

    As a child of a time when kick-ass Trans-Ams actually meant something, I'm sad that Jerry Reed is dead;

    Two songs will always put a smile on my face, no matter what mood I may be in. One of those is "East Bound And Down."

    (the other is "Yakety Sax." I am 900 years old)

    Jesus, I had no idea how great a guitarist he was -- I'm just embedding the video you linked to in case anyone's too lazy to click. That's some ridiculous guitar work:

    It always appeared to me that Jerry Reed had a good time, all the time.

    I second the "East Bound and Down" thumbs-up (Not so much the other one).
    My momma had twin babies on one sweet summer day;
    She beat one in the head, and I'm the one that got away.
