    RevoltoftheApes.com: MANORLADY/THE CHAW/WORTHLESS

I've been doing some interviews for the Austinist website in advance of this month's Austin Psych Fest 3 (a yearly event coordinated by The Black Angels). The line-up is pretty intense this year.

Anyway, I thought some of you might like some of these bands & the interviews.

    Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapors:

    Ringo Deathstarr:

    Enjoy!

Hey! They put another one up today.

Go Dutch with the noisy Seattle-via-Texas trio known as The Night Beats, from the Austinist website!

    Very cool, Doomstone.

I just recently saw the Black Angels and they were fantastic live. Looking forward to reading these.
What was the best concert you've been to?

"Probably Sade. It was just so sexy and relaxing."

Harry - glad to hear you enjoyed The Black Angels! They were amazing when I saw them last year. At this year's fest, they're playing two sets & hosting a crawfish boil. Amazing, I say!

Take a peek at THE MEEK from L.A. - here's a great interview (if I do say so myself) with singer Amy Lee.

"Revolt of the Apes" takes a loose, literary look at the excellent new albums by The Black Angels and Black Mountain!

Gull is from Richmond, VA. Sorry, world! That makes us the best city on earth! "Revolt of the Apes" declares it so ...
