    Key member of a really good cast. I'll catch GG every now and again, a lot of the episodes were really well-written(I think Jim Vallely from AD did quite a few). Plus I just always liked Sophia's sassin' when I was a kid. RIP Ms Getty.

    I was trying to remember if she was dead or not, and whether this was real news. So I guess this means that Betty White's the only Golden Girl who's still alive (and appears to be headed for some kind of George Burns will-live-forever status).

    Yeah, I know, I was just making the comparison, because Betty White is about to turn 90, so she's actually the oldest of all of them, plus she's working more lately than most 30 year olds. Most people don't make it to 100 like George Burns did.
