Sorry Jesse, but every grown up I've known dresses like this

HE CAN PULL IT OFF!
There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Balenciaga cargo pants of several years back. For ladies, not men, but the fact remains that they were fantastic.
I also don't have a problem with hoodies under blazers/jackets. I find it silly to rule any of these clothes out completely. If you know how to put garments together and are creative with clothes then things that might otherwise be horrible can look great.
also - I can't believe I'm reading this on AST. I can't wait to go read the comedy thread now on my fashion message boards![]()
YA, I love the idea of your show. I'm also totally serious about the Balenciaga cargo pants (I still look for them on ebay from time to time). I'm also totally offended that someone felt the need to slam Matt in this thread. So yes, you figured me out I guess.
Ever since I started dating my fiance, I've amassed quite a collection of awesome sneakers and fun t-shirts... I'm 30 years old and regressing.
I want these. They are tweed. Does that make them classy?
PS. For the most part I'm just not into cargo pants. But there ARE some that are well made and stylish... I may have overspoke there...

Absolutely. I was just going to post this. There are certain blazers or sportcoats that are made to be worn with less formal shirts. And it looks good, in my opinion. A suit coat would be awful with a hoodie.
Also, I am a huge fan of blazers, and I wear them with lots of different shirts, sweaters, pants, sneakers, etc., running the gamut from formal to very informal. I really only have two rules: no graphics "emblazened" on the blazer, and no solid colored t-shirt under the blazer. I know this second one is really common, but I hate in a way that is hard to describe with words. Even a t-shirt with something on it has to be carefully selected.
Finally, thank you Cameron for posting Jesse's maximum fun forum dedicated to this very subject. I will defer all further comments to that site.
You know what's underrated? Turtlenecks and blazers. A courdoroy blazer with a black turtleneck is great. The turtleneck is like a pedestal for your face.
Basically a good rule of thumb fashion wise is dress like:
Young Paul Newman
Young Steve McQueen
Anyone from Animal House
Your grandpa when he was your age
What was the best concert you've been to?
"Probably Sade. It was just so sexy and relaxing."
Or your father in the case of Oliver Pardo. I don't think he should grow up wearing a star trek uniform.
