does anyone want to go try to be on the price is right with me? they tape it right down the street from where i live (cbs studios are at fairfax and beverly) and it seems like it would be a fun free thing to go do. plus we could win A FABULOUS NEW CAR! or A LOVELY DINETTE SET! or TURTLE WAX! and i've always wanted to play plinko.

I had tickets to go when Bob Barker was the host, in his last few months. I couldn't go because my friends were too big of pussies to stay in a hostel or to go to LA in general. I will always regret missing that.

Anyway I can say that, it might not be as intense now but from what I read, I can't remember where I found it, you have to practically sleep overnight even if you have tickets to get into the show. It's probably just because Barker was leaving but that's the last I heard. You at least have to be there butt early to guarantee getting in.

When I went in late 2001, we had to be there at 5:30 AM to check in and return before the taping. Be prepared for a long wait.

i really did have a lot of fun and i think this is a great free thing to do in la if you're coming from out of town (or even from in town). i hope next time i get called to be a contestant. if you do this be prepared to sit and wait for a long time! we were there from 9am to 3pm for the 1pm show.

i want to go again in december and i think this time we should have a lot more people. matching shirts, too.

THE CONCEPT OF CHEATING ON YOUR WRIST MAKES NO SENSE AND THAT MAKES IT SILLY AND ABSURD. HURTING YOUR WRIST ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE IN THE CONTEXT OF WACKING OFF SO ITS DIRTIER.
