So obviously this was written after the second period. What a goddamn motherfucking unbelievable game. MoJo comes alive, Chimera -- maybe the fastest Cap, but also pa generally kinda crappy shot, get the GWG by never giving up on the play. Definitely cut years off of my life watching this one.

Who's got the over/under on whether Crosby will make a miraculous recovery for Wednesday?

Has he skated in full gear in practice? NHL policy says players out for concussion have to participate in full-contact gear for something like three full practices before they can play in a game. I know this from our recent Mike Green saga. I know Crosby has been participating in practice, but I thought it was in no-contact gear (which I like to imagine is a frilly, floral dress).

Now, if he can play in round 2, and especially if it's Caps-Pens -- holy fuck would that be an amazing series.
