Hopefully, the prospect of a full 82 game season is definitely exciting. The problem is that revenue sharing is one of the areas where the players seemed to be flexible and the fact that that seems to be the only specifics that the owners released makes me nervous. Also, they only bumped it from 49 to 50 percent but are already patting themselves on the back for making concessions. The only other details I've seen so far don't favor the players:

I hope Backstrom's neck injury isn't serious! I'm anxious to see what system Adam Oates brings and if he can spark some old Ovi magic! Eager to see what having a legitimate 2C in Mike Ribiero does for our production! Braden Holtby is reportedly playing some of the best, most consistent play of his career in the AHL lately, we'll see if he can keep it up (and keep up his play from the 2012 playoffs) in the regular season amongst the pros. Also, hopefully Mike Green finally comes back from the dead!
Teams I'm most scared of in the shortened season: Canes, Lightning, Rangers.
Teams I'm most worried could miss the playoffs: Wings, Capitals (I mean, if the new guys don't gel, if the shortened season works against any changes Oates is trying to make, if everybody really hates Hamrlik that much for speaking out against the NHLPA... I'm just nervous. I'm a DC sports fan, I'm always nervous!! Did you see that shit that went down yesterday???)
