Yeah, you guys allowed the Kings a month's worth of goals last night, Umlaut. Was fun from out here, especially after the Kings got shutout by CBJ on Saturday.
24/7 was so great. It's a shame there weren't more than 4 eps.

24/7 was really great!
If you enjoy watching hockey players walking in slow motion, you're gonna love HBO's 24/7!
I'm 1 game into a 5 game road trip that started with seeing Philly in Ottawa on Sunday (6-4 Sens). I'm in Pittsburgh right now and chilling out before we see the Sens vs Pens tonight, then off to NYC for three day where I'll see Sens Rangers at MSG, then off to Montreal and Le' Centre Bell to see Sens vs Habs before heading back to Ottawa to see my beloved Jets defeat the Sens on their home ice.
What I'm saying is, I'm way more into hockey than you goofs.
All kidding aside, did you jerks watch the world Juniors this year? I look forward to it as much as Christmas itself. There is some beastly talent coming up to the NHL in the next few years.

Worst of all Umlaut, the Caps got Tebowed...

Arch, I'm sorry you had to go to Pittsburgh. If you want to go see the Wings in Detroit some time just make me an offer I can't refuse.
Ughhh what is this, the wound-salting thread?
Hands down the best barn I've ever been in. People were great, food and booze were affordable and even the fans were super tolerant of two Canadians in Sens jerseys. There was a startling lack of chirping going on, except for that one dude that called me a fag.
If you've not been to a game there, you're doing yourself a disservice.
Man, I was so excited a week ago for this Pens-Caps game tonight. Now I'm dreading it. What happened in that time?
Oh, that's right, a week ago we had a four game win streak and since then our best player this season got put on IR and we've been playing like donkeyshit.
All Caps fans were bemoaning the fact that the scum who gave Backstrom the elbow to the head to put him out indefinitely, Rene Bourque, never got proper retaliation for the hit and, playing for Calgary, we wouldn't be seeing him again for the rest of the season.
Well guess who just got traded to Montreal? And guess who the Caps are playing next week?
Mmm... Justice.
René is looking forward to smashing a couple more Caps' heads.
This just in: Shanahan has fined Shauno $10,000 and suspended him from posting on AST for 3 days for his dangerous rhetoric above.
And when he does let's hope the boys in Washington don't try to have him thrown in jail for assault...
Great overtime win for the Wings last night. Zetterberg replacing Bertuzzi in the 4 hole with a nifty move that I'm sure made Todd proud.

100 wins for Howard, 25 this season alone, and 400 for Babcock, the best coach in the NHL hands down.
Arch- glad you enjoyed the Consol. I retract my statement about feeling sorry you had to go there. I guess stadium quality isn't that important to me with the JLA being over 30 years old and in an opposing fans words "a dump." Who has time to notice the building when you get to watch the greatest hockey team in the last 20 years...but I get it, I want to go to Fenway just for the history, not necessarily because I want to watch the Red Sox.
Wings vs. Hawks again tomorrow. Detroit going for it's 14th win in a row at home. Go Wings!
Wow, Jay. That shootout goal is a nice bit of business.
Also, I'm hearing rumors that the Winter Classic 2013 will be Leafs at Wings at the University of Michigan football arena.
It looks like the Winter Classic 2013 is pretty much a done deal. The only hangs ups right now are selling beer at the stadium, the big ten which the University of Michigan belongs to doesn't allow alcohol sales at it's games, and sharing profits with the NCAA. I'm sure that both sides will figure it out to put on such an extravagantly huge event.
I've been saying that match up, Wings v Leafs since the last WC that Detroit was in ended (I was there #humblebrag). Probably because it makes the most sense. The NHL has to get a Canadian team in 1 regardless. The Leafs are my favorite Canadian team and I root for Canada in the playoffs as long as it doesn't affect the Red Wings.
Also nice to see Howard get voted an all-star, by write in no less. I get it that he's not a big name yet, but he has vastly improved over the years and is leading the league in wins by a fair margin. And I believe Lidstrom used his influence to get out of the all-star game so he could just rest at home, which I totally approve of. Frankly the game itself was exciting as a kid but now seems like a hassle and potential threat to the players. It just takes 1 fluke injury to put the game in question...
I knew there was a conspiracy against the Habs!
And their (mostly stupid) fans, of course.
Hah. I can't believe that took as long as it did to clear up. Truly embarrassing.
Anyways, this season is really looking like a wash. Any tips on which team to bandwagon?
The Blues! Weeee!
I agree with this sentiment.
