I'm amazed he closed with a rant about Yoshinoya beefbowl since it's so specific. They're ubiquitous in Japan but I didn't even know they existed in America.
    Oooh! Thank you for this.

Two weeks until Fallout 3 ships and you all were just going to let it pass unremarked upon?

I am trying to not clock watch. Or PiPboy watch, or whatever.

Someone on my friends list has been playing Fallout 3 for a couple of days now. Do I threaten to report him if he doesn't hand over the disc, or do I assume that he's high up and could have me killed?

Fallout 3 leaked for PC and 360 the other day.

I'm excited about getting Dead Space tomorrow. A lot of sites are comparing it to Resident Evil 4, which is one of my favorite games.

Also, I've been playing the Call of Duty 5 beta and it's pretty much the same as COD4. Some minor differences are the exchange of dogs for helicopters and Jack Bauer screaming at you if you're the Americans.

Little Big Planet... delayed! A-pparently, one of the background music tracks has two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an and it was thought this would be offensive to some, soooo they decided to delay the game, possibly 10/27 but nothing official yet (at first it was three weeks). Media Molecule said that they got a new master disc burnt and a patch developed within 12 hours of finding out it needed to change. It appears Sony is too skittish and is delaying the game anyway since some who pick it up may not have internet access and the game won't update as intended and then that person may be of the .000001% game population that gives a shit about two lines in a song they're not listsening to, not analyzing, don't know the lyrics for anyway... and even if they did, would know that it came from the Qu'ran and offend their wee sensibilities.

Sony should have released the patch and not made anything over it and no one would have known, let alone given an opportunity to cry about it.

Boo hoo! Dead Space is scary! I want my mommy.

I only played to the first save point, but it looks cool so far.

okay - I'm playing Mass Effect and so far it's great. Of course, I'm playing on easy and who knows how long before I hit a hard part in the game and I send it back to GameFly...

I bought mass effect when it just came out, but I lost it without beating it and I'm playing it from the beginning again.

Here's something that amuses me but I have to use spoilers for:

I thought that pull out was aimed at Christians too, but the target are some (not all) Muslims who find it offensive to have lines of the Koran in song.

I originally didn't care much for Dead Space, "oooh, strategic dismemberment" who cares. But after just seeing all the positive reviews for it, I think I might have to check it out. Eventually.

Far Cry 2 comes out tomorrow (Or Wednesday?)

And a week until Fallout 3. I just noticed that Amazon is offering to have it delivered the day it's released. And yes, I did take them up on it.

I may not have the temperament for a game like Dead Space. At least in this you can walk with your gun-thing out in front of you, unlike RE4, but I am still on the constant verge of a nervous breakdown.

This has finally cleared it up for me. I've been seeing talk of Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3 for months now but never in the same article or message board post. And since I don't follow either series I've been confused as to why Fallout 2 and 3 were both coming out soon (or Far Cry 2 and 3 depending on the article or post).

Glad I could be of service.

With Far Cry 2 and Resident Evil 5 taking place in Africa, is it too early to call Africa the new World War 2?

The reviews for this Dead Space are really, really good. Thank god I started up my Gamefly account again, there's a flurry of new games coming out between now and Christmas that I want to try.

My lady bought me Pure for PS3 and The Simpsons game for Xbox for my upcoming bday...

Pure-easy to get into and fun, still learning all the tricks, looks amazing and a great arcade style game, customizing your ATV is easy and pretty in depth

Simpsons-everything you all ready know is true, crappy cameras, easy game play, and the best part is roaming around Springfield listening to the characters

i cant wait for Left 4 Dead
