i think it was a really interesting move for us to see megan be good at her job, all by herself, but not get the sort of fulfillment out of it than don and peggy do. she has the talent (not saying her idea was brilliant, but it was good and it did the trick) but not the drive, not for this sort of work. i actually think megan leaving SDCP wouldn't be a big struggle. it would be about what don gets up to when she isn't there. and it would be about what she does instead. if she goes back to acting, running around the village with her awesome weird friends, that's where the real generational/cultural divide will become the most pronounced.
and poor sally. too young to wear make-up but not too young to see uncle roger get a blowie from step-grandma.
