TO ALL COMEDY MOMS WHO WANT TO BE ON TV: A new Nickelodeon show called "Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor" is currently in production and we are looking for MOMS who want to be part of our segment "MOM CONFESSIONS." And here's the easy part...you can just videotape yourself (on your phone, computer, IPad, whatever) and send it to us! No need to come in to an office! It will take you 5 mins. This is probably me being weird but something about phrases that include the word 'mom' preceeded by a descriptor make my skin crawl.

Soccer mom.
Tot mom.
Comedy mom.
Sex mom.
Nickmom.com

It is pretty weird when someone decides to professionally identify themselves as a mom first and their actual job second.

Unless it's genre specific, I guess. Like if they write a blog about how awful "mommy" culture is, and call themselves a Mommy Blogger.
