I had the same conversation with my wife last night. The only part that's even remotely interesting right now is Sylar's storyline.
Hiro hasn't had anything good with work with since Season 1, and I'm upset about that.
I like Matt Parkman. Fascinating character.

Kring says it's all your fault for being too stupid and dumb and not watching it right.
http://tv.ign.com/articles/931/931067p1.html
This is exactly the problem with this show:
Kring explained he had thought they could almost completely replace the characters each season, remarking, "I was primarily fascinated by the origin story. Once the original story is over, and the character has no more questions about what's happening or existential drama, then the questions become just about plot, and then it becomes harder for me personally to connect to."
The origin story is not the most interesting part of every comic! The reason you would do a super hero TV show over a movie is so you could get beyond the origin and explore the other stuff.
"Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory."
Superhero stories are generally about how people who are different learn to deal with other people, both people who are even weirder than they are, and "normal" people. That's my theory why comedians are often drawn to comic books. How does the outsider deal with the world?
Exactly, the only character I can really think of that had some sort of long over arching origin story was Wolverine. When the second season I was kind of optomistic because everyone seemed to have settled into a normal life. I thought this will be interesting. The two guys raising a super hero girl. The dad and his super hero daughter. Then it got retarded and the Mexican girl started crying and I started crying.
"Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory."
Perhaps Kring should check out The Dark Knight and see how the follow-up stories can expand upon while still reinforcing the themes of the origin story.
I bet Concrete would make Kring's head explode.

Night gathers, and now my snark begins. It shall not end until it gets hacky. I shall take my wife(... please!), hold no lands, father no negative ratings. I shall wear no crowns and win no AST Top 20 Rankings. I shall live and die by my posts. I am the LOL in the darkness. I am the fire that burns against the trolls, the sneer that guards the realms of men from Kyle Cease's Comedy Boot Camp. I pledge my life and honor to the AST's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.
I knew this show was taking a nosedive into awful after the first season finale. After that episode I erased it from the TiVo and have never watched a single second since. And I continue to be proud of my negative, judgemental decision.
its a wrap.. shows done
i admit to being late to that heroes is shitty now party
this season started off so good though and look liek it was gonna blow the second season out the water
still got dexter and lost
I'll never understand, in the season one finale, why did Nathan have to fly Peter to a safe distance to explode? He could fly, too. Dumb.
Also, I think Sylar is the lamest villain in the history of visual media.
You knew Heroes was going to suck this year when they had that cheesy cringworthy pre show red carpet fiasco before the episode.
I hated that speed girl with anime pixie hair and teen angst attitude girl they tried to make her look like run lola run which she is not...
Heroes is stupid. Go Netflix Battlestar Galactica and watch that on Mondays instead.
I HATE SYLAR AS A GOOD GUY.
WHAT?
(i will defend my choice of caps lock to any who dares to call me out.)

This season has had some moments that, if I could look past the dialogue and the acting, did not make me angry. I wish I had the power to stop watching it.
I watched the whole first season on DVD and was just stunned at how bad it ended (considering there was a lot of good in thse previous episodes). Just the idea that the writers, after putting themselves in a corner, just throw two characters into space as deux ex machina was supremely bad storytelling.

CAR RENTAL CLERK: [waving gun in Sylar's face] I'll be a bonafide hero!
SYLAR: [smirking evilly] I hate heroes...
TRIAL: I hate Heroes too
"(inaudible) I've seen, basically, all of those at this point."
(laughter)
"Yes, but have you ever seen Threen Wolf?"
