Help! I need PDF document comparison software

I'm looking for a program that can take two drafts of the same PDF document and compare them, creating a new document that highlights the changes. Final Draft has a feature that does this called "Script Compare" -- I'm basically looking for that feature, but for pdfs. I've found a couple of programs that claim to do this, but they're Windows only. If you know of a Mac program that can do this, please let me know! I have a program called PDF Pen, but it doesn't have a compare feature (at least v3 doesn't -- if v4 does, I will upgrade, but I don't think it does).

Apparently, Acrobat professional version 9 does this. Here's a review. It's pricey, but there might be an upgrade price, or at least a 30 day demo.

Yes... there is a trial version, and you can upgrade from $159 from a previous version.

If you're simply doing a text compare, would it be possible to paste the data of each PDF in a separate text file and run a difference utility on it?

Sparkiepop saved the day by taking the files I had and comparing them for me with her copy of Acrobat. Still, it didn't work as cleanly as I hoped it would. I feel like this should be a pretty straightforward task for a modern computer, and yet the options are clunky and limited. I know it's an esoteric thing to need, but still.
