All of his advisors seem to be dummies, so he seems to enjoy having someone smart to talk to. Although not too smart.

some people don't want to know or talk about the books, even if you're just comparing differences between the books and the show that we've already seen. i think that was pretty clear at the beginning of this thread, so to insist on doing it anyway is kinda dick-ish. particularly when you were one of the people that got all (fake?) pissy about people who posted in the gif thread without posting gifs themselves. if you wanna compare the books to the show, just do it in the other thread. how is that hard? no one's saying you can't talk about it. they just don't want unknowingly read it themselves.

Seems pretty clear to me Tywin knows Arya is high born but doesn't know that she's a Stark. Their stuff has been the most interesting to me the past few episodes. Really curious to see where it goes.

Thank the seven gods or whoever for this thread!

I agree with peeps being bummed out that Dany has gone all dumb and tedious this season after looking like she was going to be awesome last season. I guess it's not her fault she's in a position she's not mentally equipped for, but it sure is less fun to watch her these days.

On the other hand I could watch Tywin and his spawn for days. Those Lannisters own this show. Just need more of Tyrion bantering with his bodyguard Bronn - pretty much the best part of season one that didn't involve nudity.

This is exactly how I read it. He doesn't know who she is but she's a bright spark in dim air and she helps keep him sane.

That Lannister comment reminded me: the greatest trick this show has pulled is making Circe a little bit sympathetic all of a sudden. Didn't see it coming, but she got me in that scene with Tyrion. Jaime is still pure dragon shit, of course. I always thought Circe was mainly to blame for Joffry being evil, coddling and indulging him, schooling him in her evil ways, but now it seems the boy just got a supersized dose of his father's sociopathic streak.

If I was going to get wanky (I'd never do that to you guys) about it I'd mention that Iceland - or whatever North Of The Wall is called in the show - is one of my favourite characters too. Gorgeous terrain that's always shot in golden hour really floats my dragon boat.

Oh crap I just got wanky.

And yet it's not even quite that simple because Jaime seemed like the only one who really cared about Tyrion when Cersei and The Old Man treated him like a useless tinyman. Jaime may be dragon shit, but he's not pure dragon shit.

Plus, Jamie wanted to fight Ned fairly. That's the thing that kept me from hating him 100 percent.

True. I do like Jaime actually, for those reasons, and because he's charismatic. But when a dude pushes a kid off a ledge that's at least 97% dragon shit.

You'd think the baby murder episode early in the season would have vaccinated me against the crispy crumbles from last week, but instead I have autism now.

Theon Greyjoy maybe my least favorite character/thing in the world right now. At least Geoffrey is morally consistent.

In his defense, he had that horrible car accident between shooting Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back.

Speaking of names, when is Dany going to name her fucking dragon babies?! Or did that happen and I missed it? (This is where this thread really comes in handy, because I don't fucking want to know what she named them in the books. I strictly want to know if they've been named on the show yet.)

    Dragons

This is my dragon Larry, first of his name, his brother Daryl, first of his name, and his other brother Daryl, second of his name.
