Fanboy Focus by Jonah Ray. PLUS: YOU can be on TV!

A new segment I did for the show INFOMANIA is up online now. Watch it.

And I'm serious about getting on TV. If you have a problem with any of the things i talked about in the piece, you can upload your complaint and send me the link. I will use on the program and start a debate with the fanboy community.

bullshit, first season was a fun "genesis" of sorts. Season two got pretty bad with the brother and sister as well as Sylar not having powers.. and now its just really really bad.

Nice job on the split screen comparisons on The Fly and Heroes. Someone needs to forward that to the recently-fired Jeph Loeb, who denied similarities and said that nitpicking fans were "seeing what they wanted to see".

Yeah the split screen of the fly was great. I also like seeing into the bedrooms and offices of lonely awkward nerds who care too much. The pull quotes about the Star Trek photo made me laugh out loud at work.

Origin stories are always going to be some what interesting. People just like watching that sort of thing and they write themselves. You have to really fuck up an origin story on Catwomen level to make something totally unwatchable.

I would say that the Heroes was ok, to good, up until the point they saved the cheerleader. I get the feeling that they did not expect the show to go much further then that and did not know what to do. It's like they were fishing with lots of bait and no hook to keep you on the line. I think this is a problem with a lot of these high concept shows.

They should have killed off all the lame characters at the end of the first season. Keeping the strong characters and the three good actors. Then they could let them develop some of their personalities.

Well come on we all love ELI STONE. (All caps because it is awesome.) I mean what he thinks happens, sort of. And he is a lawyer. It is like the gods heard my prayer for a return of Ali McBeal and it happened.

Last nights episode of heroes even made Sylar suck. It is like they are trying to hurt my brain parts. They may have set a record for exposition in dialog. Plus this episode was totally useless. Most of the things we already new. What happen to the future stuff? This show if fucked.

What is sad is that if the show was just about the agency and their quarry, with Sylar being the toughest to catch, the show would have been good. Basically you could have the agency trying to hunt down all the mutants before Sylar does and he becomes a god.

Nice work Jonah, I really liked this. Maybe the funniest hing I've ever seen on current.

I haven't gotten to see the rest of Infomania yet, but a friend just showed me Target Women with Sarah Haskins, and it had me laughing. I was pleased to see Jonah Ray pop up in one of the segments!
