The Journey of Walter White
I miss Gus
I'm just throwing this out there: It would make complete sense that Walt is going to battle with Jesse when he gets the weapons in the diner. Why wouldn't the show pit the two main characters against each other? It would be a fantastic ending.
I can't see how Walt would need a machine gun to do battle with Jesse. I don't think Jesse has what it takes to put an army together to take him down.
I obviously have nothing interesting to add to this conversation.
Not even if he finds about Jane or Brock or Mike or all three? I think finding out those things would put enough anger in him to at least attempt a run at Mr. White. Or give up that info to the DEA...
And now that I think of this the only person who knows about most of these killings is Saul. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T KILL SAUL!!

I realized last night that I'm glad the show only has 8 more episodes. They've done some insane things in the run of this show, but it's never lost me. Walt's arc has been spectacular. All great things must end, and I'm glad it will go out still being so good.
I'm not saying Jesse wouldn't have the motivation, I'm saying he doesn't have the capabilities. Especially now that it was revealed that he is back off the wagon. And my point was that if he does find out and try to take Walt out, why would Walt need a machine gun for defense? Seems like overkill. My guess is that he either turns states evidence and bought the gun as art of a sting operation to bring Jim Beaver down, or he is using the gun against some incoming DEA agents.
I obviously have nothing interesting to add to this conversation.
I see what you are saying. And Walt getting that big of a machine gun leads me to speculate that he's holding down a warehouse or something. One that might be threatened by competing cartels rather than the DEA.
My money is also still on Hank using Jesse and that info as leverage against Walt.

The most exciting thing about this show, for me, RIGHT NOW, is the question of whether or not Walt dies in the last (or 2nd to last? let's get crazy) episode. Everything is leading up to Walt dying... everything. Yet, the writers of this show know that... right? Do they flip it on us? Do they sit in a room arguing that it is too obvious to kill Walt at the end? Do they flip it on us?
I'd like everyone around Walt to die while Walt beats cancer and has to live the rest of his life knowing he had his entire family killed. Then he has to live in his pristine house (the house is pristine after he beats cancer -- everyone who is incredibly smart and great knows that the house represents walt! I KNEW THAT, AT LEAST) alone for the rest of his life.

Jonathan Banks, who played curmudgeonly meth leg man Mike on AMC’s Breaking Bad, will guest-star on Parks and Recreation’s Season 5 as the father of Ben Wyatt (played by Adam Scott), HitFix reports. Parks co-creator Michael Schur tells the site that Banks’ Parks and Rec character, like his Albuquerque alter ego, is less-than-cuddly. And that may be because the sitcom’s writers, according to Schur, are huge fans of the actor’s Bad work.

The question now we ask ourselves is how Hank proceeds forward. Walt could slap him with a 'look I paid for your damn rehab with drug money' the DEA will love that story, leverage is a bitch. Also Hank is supposed to be off this investigation. Damn I love this show but sorry I've been late to the discussions because I was always two episodes behind (thank you Amazon on Demand)
didn't watch yet but probably dope. it's a goddamned hour.
