Alright! PF! Gunnin' for 3rd Chair on yet another show!
Super excited to hear Pat talk about Dark Knight.
The people have spoken, we want more Pat!
This week, we're joined by Erin Gibson and Joel Church-Cooper of the Roommating Show (www.roommatingshow.com) to discuss rock docs.

How much did they talk about The Wire? I'll listen and find out!
Considering The Wire, Morrissey, and Joel's love for In the Aeroplane Over the Sea came up, this was the best Shit Parade ever.

Thats the link to the Bulgarian music that Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel recorded. You can find excerpts of the music in a few spots on the internet.
My feeling on rock docs is that other than a couple (Some Kind of Monster, Dig!, maybe a few others) they are way too long. The story of almost every band is 30-40 minutes at the most. The Pixies one pads it out with having every member of Radiohead and few other British bands describe in incredible detail what they like about each one of the members. The Wilco one pads it with having long film school sequences of leaving falling from trees or rain hitting the windshield. It ruins every rock doc by making it just too boring. Most of them should be cut down to 40 minutes and then put on DVDs as like a 2fer. You rent the Ramones/New York Dolls DVD or the Minutemen/Pixies one.
hey graham elwood was on.
Indeed, as ragu sauce has pointed out, Graham Elwood has returned to the program to discuss his favorite movies.

I enjoyed the EG/JC-C episode, and I was especially taken by the "Dark Knight" supplement discussion.
Special notes of agreement for me, in both:
-Jonsey's Juke Box does kind of suck a lot.
-Comparing Nicholson's Joker to Ledger's Joker is pointless, in as far as saying "This one's perfect" because the movies called for different styles."
So.... there's that. Keep it up, Battleship.
You don't have to see anything you don't want to of mine!
