I can't stop watching that video - the way she shakes her butt and then she wants to see the video so bad that she finishes the impression while wobbling over to look at the phone!

So Marlo got her bucket of candy stolen tonight after Halloween. We were gutted. We raced over to the dollar store to replace the bucket and the cashier overheard Marlo saying, "Thank you for finding my bucket" and we told him the story. He called his mom and then had us drive over to her house where she loaded Marlo's bucket up with more candy than she got from the whole night!
Here she is as Ponyo:

When you're small sometimes you gotta do something to make yourself feel big. Sad story, but the heartwarming aspect shines through.
Stole her candy? Scumbag!!
I wonder how easy that was to do though. Like, is there an analogy that would convey the ease with which her candy was stolen?
easy as pie?

Alright nerd parents, do you have any recommendations for video monitors? There's the ones with the camera + screen and then there's the ones with the camera and then a phone/tablet app. I guess I'm leaning toward the latter, but they tend to be more pricey than the former.
I had Summer video monitors and they worked ok and you could move the camera remotely which was good in case it got bumped. But the "parent unit" died and when I replaced it I couldn't mate it to the old cameras. The website didn't even list one of the models I had, their customer service is for shit. So I got an all-new Motorola MBP33 set which works better but the cams are stationary.
I personally liked the idea of a video monitor a lot with our first but it's only because I was paranoid. I don't care nearly as much now, though a good feature is a temperature indicator. The first one we had actually changed color to indicate that it was above or below a certain range. You know, the whole video thing, unless you're using it to watch the kid while it's not asleep, it's ultimately pointless since the sound is 99% of what you'll be alerted by anyway. Hope that's helpful.
