I just watched Herzog's Bad Lieutenant film. This is quite possibly the greatest film ever made and I will battle with anyone who disagrees with me. Herzog is officially the most important artist alive today and arguably the most talented filmmaker to ever live. I had to take a shower after watching this due to how sweaty and excited I became from deciphering the layers and levels of genius. I am going to watch this goddamned wonderful thing ten more times in the next ten days and if Herzog and Cage don't win Oscars then fuck an Oscar and fuck you.

When I read something like this it brings a smile to my lips as I remember bullying kids that said this sort of thing back in school.

I saw Frank Tashlin's Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? the other day. I hadn't really seen any of Tony Randall's stuff before, so it was quite the tasty treat. It had some amazing meta gags in it that would put most modern alt comics to shame. Good stuff. Also Groucho Marx's random appearance was great.
