aww, somebody's cranky.
after owning a macbook pro for only two years, the hard drive fried. so did the connector cable that connects the HD to the motherboard. i didn't panic too badly because all of my work documents were backed up and i did learn how to replace my own HD (even though i still needed the apple store to change the cable when the HD wouldn't install an OS). but wtf. 2 years for a hard drive? did i overheat my laptop keeping it in a hard case all the time? or is this a common occurrence?
