No, we're going to talk about THIS! http://www.macrumors.com/2012/06/13/...er-than-later/

The current iMac case is great, so who cares if it's not revamped and given a big public unveiling? All the iMac needs is the newest chipset/graphics card, more RAM/storage per $, USB 3.0 and a FaceTime HD cam. Anyone seriously demanding a Retina display on an iMac should calm the eff down -- they'll do it eventually, when it's cheaper to do, but given the distance you sit from a desktop screen it's hardly necessary.

What iPhone game should I get? I just play Arkham Asylum Lockdown. It was very entertaining.

As an attempt to get a reprieve for my previous (dingus-y?) posting sin and just because I'm actually curious, do you guys think there's any chance there'll be an Air with Retina display anytime before the next WWDC or is the Air line (heh?) slowly going to be killed off?

And, America's Team, I would go with Pocket God as its phenomenal at wasting endless amounts of time or Last Rocket for a genuinely original and smartly made puzzle game. (also Jetpack Joyride because Jetpacks)

Cut The Rope Experiments was fun -- just finished that.

Just started Jetpack Joyride -- if you like insane 8-bit style side-scrollers then this is the game for you. I'm not sure I love it, but I could see being addicted to it. Mostly I just hate how bad I suck at it, and how I really don't think I will be able to get any better.

They won't kill off the Air because it sells well. But for now the Retina display will probably be too expensive to add to it without taking it into Pro territory. My guess is the next Retina-displayed Mac will be a 13" version of the one that just came out, maybe by the end of the year? The Airs might get them early next year? I don't know, this is pure speculation.

I've been wanting to upgrade my years old white plastic macbook and I've been looking at an Air, but I kinda want the pretty retina screen. #whitepeopleproblems

I have also heard that there's some issues with the current Airs' screen quality, so that's also added to the hesitance to commit to one right now.

Jetpack Joyride is definitely more of a time waster type game than one that builds any skill. It just reminds of me playing the original Sonic games on the Genesis where you get caught up in the momentum of moving fast.

Apple's current Free App of the Week, "Monsters Ate My Condo," is fucking fantastic!

Holy shit! Surprise delivery of my new retina MBP today! It wasn't scheduled to arrive for a week.

It's so much faster than my crappy old mac mini that everything seems like magic. I forgot that some computers don't take 12 minutes to start up.
    I'm in.

I'm going to hold out for this:
    http://www.macrumors.com/2012/06/15/...ng-in-october/

I just don't want a 15" laptop -- too big! I am tempted by the new Airs though -- faster processors and USB 3.0 make them pretty much all the machine I need in most instances. And so light! But I will hate myself if I get one now and then in less than a year they introduce an Air with a Retina display.

I get what you're saying, and I know what I'm about to suggest is a bit of a hassle, but resale on 1-year-old Apples is so easy. You will have only lost out on $100-200 - not that regrettable.

I confirm that dangerous thought. You know how well Macs hold value. Those season 11 orders are rolling in, so drop some coin, yo!
