OHMYGODHELP. I am desperately looking for a 2br apartment (or 1br with the ability to convert space into another room, whatever) in the West Hollywood/Hollywood/UCB/Los Feliz/Silver Lake/Koreatown area on the mega cheap, like $1200 max. ASAP. Please let me know if your building has anything available or if you know of any sweet deals (or if anyone is looking for two roommates).
I lived in Koreatown just last year at $725 (1BR, but still...). I mean, I woke up with a cockroach in my ear not once but twice, but it was cheap, not that shady, and a pretty quick drive to UCB. Got it though a place called LA Rentals.
That shouldn't be hard to find in Koreatown at all. I've been looking like crazy for a 1-bedroom. K-Town is out of the question for me due to the horrific parking situation...
Craigslist search is the next best thing to Westside Rentals.
