The TJ Miller episode was a revelation. He seems like such a doofus (in a good way) on DLM, but this episode made me have a respect for him beyond his ability to be funny.

The show really is What the Heck, as I think Pete joked about at some point. He has a deep conversation with a friend, which distinguishes it from WTF. The three weird things about the guest conceit is a bit thin, but I guess it works because it takes the conversation in some surprising directions. I also enjoyed the TJ Miller conversation, but Miller's appearance on The Nerdist podcast (taped the day after YMIW!) is even better at revealing Miller to be really smart and thoughtful about what he does.
