God never told them murder was wrong in the Garden of Eden, nor did they know what killing was or that they could die. That would have been a big surprise for Adam. "What is this? Why does my skin get wrinklier every day? I'm 400 years old and this is the first it's happened!"

The actual Super Bowl spot was a lot funnier than that clip.

    But still not great.

Also, it should be noted that Cera seems to be showing a lot more range than normal. And by more range I just mean he isn't wearing a zip-up hoodie.

Yeah I'm also hoping Cera gets to show some range in this movie.
Overall, it looks alright, it'll be filled with cameos from the regular Apatow guys like Christopher Mintz Plasse, Paul Rudd,

I thought the super bowl sneak peak was really funny and it was probably better than the trailer

The trailer I saw before I Love You, Man had a line in it that had me laughing all the way through the other trailers and into the start of the movie.

    Re: Year One

    From IMDB:

The MPAA ratings board on Tuesday turned down an appeal of its decision to impose an R rating on Year One, a comedy produced by Judd Apatow and Harold Ramis and starring Jack Black and Michael Cera. Apatow and Ramis appeared personally before the board, hoping to persuade it to change the rating to PG-13. Apatow's movies (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up) are generally rated R, but Ramis's (Groundhog Day, Bedazzled, Multiplicity) are not.

Am I the only one who keeps thinking this is for the DC Year One series of comic books every time I read the title?

I don't know what happened between then and now but the movie is PG-13. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't R. I hope the film hasn't been watered down.

This is getting terrible reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. I'll still see it, though I bet it will be a collection of funny moments rather than a cohesive film as a whole.

Ebert gave it 1 star. And he doesn't give anything 1 star anymore.
