Thought Jimmy was really on fire in the first episode, but I wondered why they didn't launch with more of a bang by getting one of that crew's higher profile friends to serve as either a writer or the standup. Maybe part of the strategy is to keep the focus on Jimmy by not putting more distracting stars on the stage . . .

Did anyone else think Frank seemed a little embarrassed to win the $50 for a relatively easy gay joke?
