I got a little behind on me podcasts so I haven't listened to Doug's ep yet but holy DAMNATION was Pardo's episode face-bustingly funny! YES!
Apart from a few small moments where he couldn't follow what Howard was asking of him it was just pure joy from start to finish.
I'm glad Doug posted over there, it made it clear that the idiot with shit for brains who always drives the stupid criticisms on Podmass is Kyle Ryan.
Also, good god I'm glad I don't comment over there anymore.
"The wisdom and the the spiritual beauty within Roy Jr ... it's just effin sick!"
I actually enjoy the podmass column every week, mainly because I have zero friends who listen to podcasts so it has to take the place of a discussion of what I listened to each week. But yes, the views written on there are occasionally way off, usually in regards to Scott Aukerman. I swear whoever reviews CBB hates Scott for some unknown reason. And there last two reviews for Who Charted were ridiculous.
don't pay attention to AV Club comments. bunch of negative dicks. i can't bring myself to read the comments 99% of the time.
the Who Charted episode was great. one of the longest they've ever put out, and totally engaging the whole way through.
I hate comedy, comedy podcasts, enjoying things, podcasts, Scott Aukerman, and myself. Does anyone know how I can get a job writing reviews for the AV Club? Do I have to send them some samples of my writing, or can I just crap in an envelope and mail them that?
Thanks for your help,
Some writers/journalists, sub-conscoously or consciously, might feel somewhat "in competition" intellectually with comedians, although I doubt comedians would view them as being competition. Anyway, that could influence how they "critique" and explain some of the strange comments/opinions.
My god that AV club comments section is a shithole.
Live Seattle show is for sale http://store.earwolf.com/collections...-sir-mix-a-lot buy dat shit
Woah...at about 23 minutes into the newest episode, they mention Heavy D.
WHO CHARTED CURSE!
bought Seattle show. listening right now. big smiles
Ben Schwartz should be on everything always.
Great show, loved the mad-lib summation suggestion and the quiz stuff. I'm glad Ben didn't let Howard breeze by his Amir mention. My first time seeing Ben was on one of those sketches. Amir's been set to blow for like the past 3-4 years, it's gotta be him just trying to find the right projects at this point.
so, is THIS math rock?
