I think I caught about 1/3 of the actual dialogue in the final scene at the Frozen Yoghurt shop because I was shrieking and covering my face in embarrassment.

This show is doing a good job at being a very funny show which I enjoy.

Just started watching this, definitely liking it so far. Awesome acting from JLD and everyone else. Her look of barely-contained glee when she first learns about the president's condition was perfect. Hale and Chumsky are really great and I love seeing Matt Walsh in a more permanent role in something for once after all the awesome guest roles he's been doing for years. The scenes with him & the other guy (I think his name was Dan?) fighting with Brian Huskey in the yoghurt shop were all really funny. I'm liking the tall White House guy (anyone notice he was on the last episode of BFF for a few seconds? Is he a UCB guy?) a lot too so far, I thought it was hilarious how serious he was about choosing the frozen yogurt flavors. "Mint. It's fresh!" Great scene.

Show seems to have found its groove. I just wish they had a character that is as evil, twisted, and crazy as Malcolm Tucker was in "thick of it"

    Loving this show.

I don't think anyone can play apathetic better than Matt Walsh.

Just caught up on this thing and, yeah, it's the real deal. I love the premise to death and every character is plausible... I imagine Hillary Clinton watching this and laughing in a way she forgot about.

I love the Tony Hale character. He knows dick about politics, and it seems a minor miracle that he's able to dress himself and come to work. But his job--which is 100% to provide services to the Veep's vanity--is maybe the most important of all her staff, and a job none of the others could do, since they'd never put their own egos on the back burner for their boss. Hale plays it great.

The first three episodes were good ("Don't patronize me!"), but the things really started to crystallize in the fourth one. The birther and immigration stuff, the scene in the hospital, Selena's rant that everyone should enter the office on their knees and blow her - Top notch.

A fuckload of bread! Timothy Simons was great in this ep. He and Dan are both dicks of the first order, but in different ways.

VEEP! This episode was beyond fantastic and as much as everyone was killing it, Tony Hale stole the show. Him walking with purpose into the classroom and informing the Veep (a la Bush on 9/11) was to funny for words.

I'm so glad Brian Husky's character as a reporter who's a snotty shit keeps coming back. He's a gem who should be treated as such.
