top 10 favorite stand up specials/ablums?

hey guys. new to the board. i love doing stand up comedy. i thought it'd be cool to compare favorite standup specials/ albums with other comedians/comedy fans. heres mine (in no particular order)

-steve byrne:happy hour
-katt williams: its pimpin pimpin
-dane cook:rough around the edges (it was really to choose between that and vicious circle lol)
-andrew dice clay:dice rules! (i dont know if you guys have heard of him, he's from back in the day. a classic)
-gabriel iglesias: hot and fluffy
-pablo francisco: ouch!
-kyle cease: weirder.blacker.dimpler.
-larry the cable guy:tailgate party
-george carlin:its bad for ya
-carlos mencia:not for the easily offended (i know a lot of people hate him, since hes so "offensive", but if you really open your mind, you'll realize hes a genius)

theres mine! it was soooo hard to choose just 10, though. hahaha.

You're gonna need to explain what you mean by this before I respect your opinion on the matter. Again, this isn't a list of the albums that I think represent the best comedy ever committed to record. It is a list of my favorite records; the records to which I feel the deepest connection. Narrowing down this list to 10 albums is nearly impossible, but these just happen to be the albums that came to mind in the 5 minutes I spent creating my list... If you feel that your list would be so much better than mine, at least put a sample of the records that you include.

I did read the thread, but I opted to give a serious answer anyways. Also, I did list 10. I included 2 additional records that didn't make my top 10 but that I still enjoy. This is very common with top # lists.

And for the record, you're a bit of an asshole.

No not bad at all! Whatever it is Pablo Francisco does, he does very well. I remember being shown some of his stuff in high school (before I was into stand up really at all, let alone trying it myself) and enjoying it.

Bonus Question: Anyone else recently realize they can't "do" voices? As a kid I always thought I was the one that could do voices, but now I'm just some fuck who can't do anything except a decent British accent and maybe a pirate.

Eh, fair enough, but I help run this board, and I prefer to express opinions over dictating conditions. My opinion is that these lists are boring, all they do is start fights, and if you don't play by the rules (top 10), you aren't doing anything that's any different from any other thread where you just talk about stuff you like. Hard fouls are common in basketball, but are they a good thing for the game? I don't know, who cares.
