Todd Barry: Super Crazy

On Saturday, July 21st, Todd Barry's first one-hour special for Comedy Central premieres. The Futon Critic has it listed as a "two-hour special presentation", so I don't know what that means.

It looks like on the 24th , a DVD of it is out on Comedy Central Records. Description: "The first feature length special from New York City's Todd Barry. It's extended and uncensored with over 15 minutes of material not included in the Comedy Central broadcast. Bonus features include Todd's uncut appearance on the Friars Club Roast of Chevy Chase, plus an interview with Todd that didn't go as expected."

No CD release I guess.

On some interview show a while ago he jokingly said something to the effect of "Isn't three CDs enough?" and I was beginning to think maybe he was serious. I'm very happy to know No. 4 is on the way.

In his first hour-long special, before a live audience at the Gramercy Theatre in New York, Barry reflects on his history as a germaphobe, gives important travel tips, and explains what you’re really paying for when you order spaghetti at a restaurant.

As is typical for a Todd Barry CD, this is very good! If you haven't bought it already, do it.
